Hello first TCP test — localhost SSH port 22
138-hello-first-tcp-ssh.yaml
TCP
What this example does
A beginner-friendly first check that tests whether TCP port 22 on the local Linux host accepts connections.
Checks and behavior
- Opens a TCP connection to 127.0.0.1:22 with a 3-second connection timeout.
- Reports success or failure in text format, suitable for a first CLI test.
No SSH login or authentication is performed. A failed check is expected if SSH is disabled, on another port, or not listening on localhost. Do not enable SSH just for this test.
