What this example does

Monitoring integration: TCP Listener. Shows how to report checks to existing operational monitoring.

Checks and behavior

  • Checks that a TCP connection can be established to the configured host and port; it does not prove protocol login or mail delivery.
  • Applies response-time thresholds for operational alerting.
  • Formats results for checkmk output.

Adapt example domains, addresses, credentials and thresholds to your environment before use.
