What this example does

DNS infrastructure verification: DNS canonical name. It helps detect resolution, delegation or published-record problems.

Checks and behavior

  • Queries DNS records or resolver behavior ([{'type': 'CNAME', 'equals': ['edge.example.net.'], 'exists': True}]).
  • Formats results for checkmk output.
