What this example does

DNS infrastructure verification: Multiple DNS record checks. It helps detect resolution, delegation or published-record problems.

Checks and behavior

  • Queries DNS records or resolver behavior ([{'type': 'A', 'min_count': 1, 'not_equals': ['127.0.0.1']}, {'type': 'AAAA', 'max_count': 5}, {'type': 'TXT', 'contains': ['v=spf).
  • Formats results for icinga2 output.

Adapt example domains, addresses, credentials and thresholds to your environment before use.
