71-dns-mx-exact.yaml
DNS
What this example does
DNS infrastructure verification: MX exact record and forbidden host. It helps detect resolution, delegation or published-record problems.
Checks and behavior
- Queries DNS records or resolver behavior ([{'type': 'MX', 'equals': ['10 mail.example.com.'], 'not_contains': ['old-mail'], 'min_count': 1, 'max_count': 3}]).
- Formats results for nagios output.
Adapt example domains, addresses, credentials and thresholds to your environment before use.
